Question 1: Do I need previous painting experience??
No. If you’re a determined beginner or early-stage intermediate, you’re in the right place. I walk you through each stage step-by-step. If you’ve painted before, you’ll move faster — but you don’t need to be “advanced” to benefit.
Question 2: Are the lessons live or pre-recorded?
The core training is pre-recorded, so you can watch whenever it suits you, pause, rewind and paint at your own pace. Depending on the cohort, there may also be scheduled live Q&A / critique sessions — those are recorded and added to the course area.
Question 3: What medium is used in the course?
The method works beautifully in acrylics or oils. I’ll explain materials and options so you can adapt to what you prefer to use. The principles of value, composition, colour and edges remain the same.
Question 4: How long will it take me to complete the course?
The program is structured as a 6 hour class, but you have lifetime access. Many students follow along over a week; others spread it over a few months. If you’re newer to painting, expect to spend more time on exercises — which is a good thing
Question 5: What if my paint dries too fast / too slow?
We address practical working methods inside the course. If you’re using acrylics, I’ll give you options for slowing drying time and managing your palette. If you’re using oils, we’ll look at simple medium choices and drying considerations.
Question 6: Do I need an easel or fancy studio?
No. If you have a dedicated easel, use it. If not, you can work flat on a table or temporary setup. What matters is good light, a sensible palette layout and a way to leave work to dry safely — all covered in Module 1.
Question 7: Can I sell the paintings I create from the course?
Yes. The paintings you complete using the Moore Method are your original works. You’re free to keep them, gift them or sell them if you wish.
Question 8: What if my painting doesn’t look like yours?
Good. The goal isn’t to copy my hand stroke-for-stroke. The goal is to learn the process so your work improves and your own style develops. Early on, you’ll make mistakes — that’s normal. The method gives you a way to correct and improve them.
Question 9: How long do I have access to the material?

Question 10: What if I fall behind or get busy?
